  • Felt very good to visit this memorable place. Once I went to the second floor which is read as "Abdul Kalam Arcade", I felt frustrated. It's nothing but your regular fancy items store where they sell bangles, chains, bags, etc, etc ... and just for the sake of it, they have a photo of the great man in one corner of the room. Just visit the first floor and come back, you will feel great!
  • Visited this place, during our recent trip to Rameswaram. Quite a delightful experience.Very wide variety of pearls, shells, and other items are displayed nicely. Rates were very reasonable, as I have a good idea of rates in Chennai. One suggestion.. the staff can smile more and can be more friendly. Not that they are not friendly, but they are very serious and answer in mono syllables! They seem to be quite reserved while talking with customers. They need to be trained , by professionals, for better and cordial treatment of customers, in a more engaging and pleasant way.
