Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.

San Juan, Puerto Rico to Akureyri is an approximately 21.5-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also fly; or do a combination of car and flight. Iceland's southernmost village, Vik, sports some of the country's wildest and most dramatic coastline.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Tue): take in the dramatic scenery at Skogafoss, take in the dramatic natural features at Mýrdalsjökull, then stroll through Sólheimajökulll, and finally trot along with a tour on horseback.
