You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.Visiting City Park Városliget and Danube River will get you outdoors. You'll explore and learn at House of Terror Museum and Balazs Folk Art Gallery. There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Fisherman's Bastion, head off the coast to Margaret Island, get a taste of the local shopping with Andrassy Avenue, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika).
