Hohhot, abbreviated Hushi, formerly known as Kweisui, is the capital of Inner Mongolia in North China, serving as the region's administrative, economic and cultural centre. Kick off your visit on the 12th (Fri): take in the spiritual surroundings of Hohhot Five-Pagoda Temple (Wuta Si), examine the collection at Inner Mongolia Museum, take an in-depth tour of Neimenggu Bowuguan (Inner Mongolia Museum), explore the ancient world of Hohhot Mosque (Great Mosque), then take in the spiritual surroundings of Dazhao Temple, and finally pause for some photo ops at Zhaojun Tomb.
