We've included these beaches for you: Black Sand Beach and Reynisfjara Beach. Get a sense of the local culture at Skogar Museum and Reyniskirkja Church. Get out of town with these interesting Vik side-trips: Seljalandsfoss - Waterfall (in Hella) and Fjadrargljufur Canyon (in Kirkjubaejarklaustur). Reykjavik, the world's most northerly capital, effortlessly combines small-town charm with heaps of big city energy.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Hallgrimskirkja and National Museum of Iceland. For shopping fun, head to Laugavegur or Myconceptstore. When in Reykjavik, make a side trip to see Thingvellir National Park in Thingvellir, approximately Thingvellir away.
