Although Myanmar moved its capital to Naypyidaw in 2005, Yangon remains the largest city and commercial hub in the country.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Tue): pause for some photo ops at Chaukhtatgyi Buddha, pause for some photo ops at Shwedagon Pagoda, then hunt for treasures at Bogyoke Aung San Market, and finally stroll around Kandawgyi Park. Once the capital of the Shan Kingdom, Nyaungshwe is a vibrant tourist hub of Myanmar.
On the 4th (Mon), Head underground at Htat Eian Cave Temple, then explore the activities along Inle Lake, then learn about winemaking at Red Mountain Estate Vineyards & Winery, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Ywa Thit Monastery.
