  • We had a short 2 day trip from Hubli and this was our 5th stop after Gayathri Tapobhoomi, Sirsi, Gokarna and Idagunji . The Huge Gopuram, the temple, the Lord Shiva Statue are worth a visit...

  • Lord Shiva Temple is situated adjacent to Murudeswar Temple at the seashore. The temple boasts the second highest statue of Lord Shiva in the world and looks impressive. The big statute can be seen...

  • Very beautiful place, three sides surrounded by the sea. The Siva statue is very big and looking amazing. We reached there at 12 .30 pm it was too hot . evening is the best time to enjoy at the beach and temple premises. No need to remove shirt to enter into the temple . Free lunch providing by temple. The view from the top is very awesome.
  • WOW!! Absolutely WOW!! The tall statue of Lord Shiva sits in tranquility and it is a surreal feeling as you enter the temple itself. The beach on one side and this place of worship on the other takes you away from your daily strains and peace fills your mind and thoughts completely. It is something one must definitely experience. The beach is just a quick walk from the temple itself. And the grandeur of the statue and the gopuram only hits you once you see it from the beach, at a distance. The sea was itself in a great swell because of all the rain and it only added to the feelings that were evoked being there. Anyone going through the Western ghats must definitely visit this place simply to unwind after all the trekking. A beautiful place with a beautiful story.
