Khajjiar Lake, Chamba

This one is certainly right out of a story book. It just magically shows up in the middle of a forest drive. The landscape is surreal and even though there might be multiple activities happening In and around it, you'll be able to find yourself a spot to relax and sink the beauty in. It is a approx 20kms from the Gandhi Chowk in Dalhousie. The ride to the place is equally beautiful as you pass through a forest reserve. Highly recommended.

beautiful and calm place to spent a day with family or friend.It is know as Mini switzerland. Khajjiar lake is very small,there is no water activities here. There is only green ground between high hills. Deodar tree and green grass makes beautiful view. Cold breeze and fresh sun light fill your life with freshness. shops for eating and hotels for staying is available here. You can camping in the night. But concern with locals there is risk of wild animals also. You can do paragliding, Horse riding etc. for enjoying snow visit in Jan and feb month, avoid visit in monsoon season. Try to book hotel in Dalhousie come in day time and go back to hotel in the evening. There is a good temple of khajji nag to visit.
