A well-preserved structure constructed in 1612, Fort Aguada sits on the mouth of River Mandovi, placed there to fend of the Dutch and the Marathas. Examine how the entire strategic construction is divided into two sections, with the upper part used as a water station and fort, and the lower as a berth for ships. The lighthouse was used to guide ships safely to their docks, until it was abandoned in 1976. Deep inside, discover the escape passage that enabled retreat during war and other emergencies. largest sea view portugese fort Aguada along with a lighthouse, standing in Goa which is well preseved compared to our ancient holy temples... proof that how we are neglecting our culture in the name of western education and their culture

It's one old fort which is renovated well. Where it's surrounded by beach on the other end. The fort is one epic monument. You can enjoy the landscapes. In Goa, whomsoever visits it's once of a tourist most visited place. Enjoy well and let you share the experience about it on my post.
