I realize how out of shape I'm in when you take this walk up the steep hill to experience this awesome place. It was worth the walk up. The burial mounts was impressive. I could understand why this spot was used for putting your love ones ashes to rest here. The surrounding views of Ireland and the mountains beyond, even a lake, was seen from this location. All this happened many, many centuries ago. It's worth seeing if you have some extra time on your hands!

Moderate hike up to gorgeous views. These passage tombs are thousands of years old and there is a bit of information at the site. However we recommend a guided tour to get the most out of it. Very much worth it!
