KGB Building keeps dark secrets of interrogations, torture, and the executions of thousands. Set foot in the dark hallways of the former secret police headquarters, or "the house on the corner," as the locals called it between 1940 and 1991 during Soviet rule. Visit a stark prison cell, outfitted with only a pallet to sleep on and a window that lets in a small ray of light. Personal effects that prisoners took with them on a journey without return, such as a teddy bear or a bit sand from their spouse's grave, make the exhibits hauntingly real.
