  • We very much enjoyed this museum. One wing was closed for renovation, but what we saw was excellent. We appreciated the opportunity to learn about the history of Latvian art and artists. There are descriptions in English and the museum itself was beautiful! Will return when back in Riga.
  • Stunning interior and setting for the art work. The permanent display of Latvian art through the ages was well put together and had enough information to follow without being overwhelming. A great mix of work styles and types. The exhibition space was changing displays but it's an extra $3 to see this.
