The decor in the castle are amazing with Marquetry wall panels. There were also some really good interactive displays for children (and adults). The tower was great with stunning views. We were there.... more

I suggest you to buy a combo ticket with the old castle. There is a free audio guide available (drawback: explanations are too long). There is not a lot to see, they added some games during the visit.

The Sigulda new castle is quite boring, not too much exhibits, the basement is completely empty, and ghost room is just a small room with a tub. The only attractive thing is to climb up the top and have a good viewing of surrandings.

Neat place, well restored, nice rooms. Spectacular views can be seen from the observation tower.
