  • Mingun area is not large, so you will pass by this pagoda on the walk from boats to village. Pleasant, well maintained.

  • This one can never compete with other famous monuments in Mingun but it was interesting to see the footprint of the Buddha and the wooden boat from the past.

  • Built in 1790 by king Bodawpaya. There is a buddha foot relief displayed inside the Pagoda. Pagoda keeper would ask visitor for donation. Down the pagoda is river bank. Nice river view and could see villagers' daily life.
  • This is a small and tranquil pagoda by the river. It was peaceful and beautifully decorated in white. We stopped there on our way to the Unfinished Pagoda and were the only tourists there.
