Paris of the North

Often referred to as "The Paris of the North," Riga offers thriving nightlife and some of the best collections of Art Nouveau architecture in Europe.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Riga: Jurmala (Art Studio 'Inner Light' & Jomas iela). There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Old City Riga (Vecriga), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Peter's Church, take an in-depth tour of Museum of the Occupation of Latvia, and pause for some photo ops at Freedom Monument.

Cēsis, is a town in Latvia located in the northern part of the Central Vidzeme Upland.
