2 days in Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo) Itinerary

Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo) was established by the British as a military outpost, but soon became the summer capital of British Burma, and a popular retreat for the colonial administration on account of its relatively cool and refreshing climate.

Start off your visit on the 18th (Mon): take in the architecture and atmosphere at All Saints Anglican Church, Head underground at Peik Chin Myaung Cave, and then admire the sheer force of Hampshire Falls and Caves (Pwe Kauk). On your second day here, admire the sheer force of Anisakan Falls, explore the striking landscape of National Kandawgyi Botanical Gardens, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Maha Ant Htoo Kan Thar Pagoda, and finally relax in the rural setting at HTOO Orange Farm.
