Iceland's southernmost village, Vik, sports some of the country's wildest and most dramatic coastline.
Popular historic sites such as Reyniskirkja Church and Rutshellir Cave are in your itinerary. Kids will enjoy Black Sand Beach and Dyrhólaey. Venture out of the city with trips to Kirkjubaejarklaustur (Fjadrargljufur Canyon & Scenic Green Lava Walk) and Seljalandsfoss - Waterfall (in Hella). The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Reynisfjara Beach, pause for some photo ops at Voyages Friendship Statue, get engrossed in the history at Skogar Museum, and admire the sheer force of Skogafoss.

On the 18th (Tue), get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, shop like a local with Laugavegur, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hallgrimskirkja.
