Iceland's southernmost village, Vik, sports some of the country's wildest and most dramatic coastline.

Ahmedabad, India to Vik is an approximately 24.5-hour combination of flight, shuttle, and bus. The time zone changes from India Standard Time (IST) to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is usually a -5.5 hour difference. Traveling from Ahmedabad in June, expect Vik to be colder, temps between 12°C and 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Mon) so you can go by car to Reykjavik.

On the 18th (Tue), get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, shop like a local with Laugavegur, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hallgrimskirkja. On your second day here, explore the world behind art at National Museum of Iceland, then contemplate the long history of Landnámssýningin/The Settlement Exhibition, and then see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour.

Traveling by car from Vik to Reykjavik takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In June, daily temperatures in Reykjavik can reach 15°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Wed) early enough to fly back home.
