Paris of the North

Often referred to as "The Paris of the North," Riga offers thriving nightlife and some of the best collections of Art Nouveau architecture in Europe.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Sat): pause for some photo ops at Freedom Monument, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Peter's Church, and then wander the streets of Old City Riga (Vecriga).

Ahmedabad, India to Riga is an approximately 16-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3.5 hours traveling from Ahmedabad to Riga. When traveling from Ahmedabad in August, plan for slightly colder days in Riga, with highs around 26°C, while nights are cooler with lows around 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Sigulda.
